Ingredients
300g okro
1Tbs Peppersoup spice
1Tbs Lami’s seasoning blend
2 scotch bonnet (optional)
2 cups of water
6 king prawns
3 Crab legs
8 basil leaves
1Tbs of olive oil (optional)
1 Tbs onion granules
Salt or seasoning to taste
Recipe
Chop or blend okro. This depends on how you like your okro
Add water to pot. Bring to boil.
Add pepper-soup spice, seasoning blend, scotch bonnet and onion granules.
Allow to boil *the aroma in your kitchen*.
Add king prawns and crab. Allow to cook for 4 minutes.
Remove from heat. Add blended or chopped okro.
Allow to cook on medium for 5 to 8 minutes. Add basil leaves. Taste for seasoning.
Add previously cooked king prawn and crab to pot. Turn off heat.
Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
Serve and enjoy
Tips
Do not over cook your king prawns and crab.
Do not overcook your okro.
